My mom’s grandmother use to make these. Then when she passed away no one had the recipe

Cinnamon Sugar Donut Sweet Bread
Ingredients:
For the Bread:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 cup whole milk (or buttermilk)

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping:

2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Make the batter: Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined.

Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Add the topping: While the bread is still warm, brush with melted butter and generously sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Cool & serve: Let it cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy while warm for the best experience!

Savor every bite of this cozy, cinnamon-spiced delight—perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a sweet snack any time of day!
