Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

STEP 4: ADD THE BUTTERMILK

  • Gradually pour the buttermilk into the mixture, stirring gently with a wooden spoon until the dough just comes together. Be careful not to overmix the dough, as this will result in tough biscuits.

STEP 5: KNEAD THE DOUGH

  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Gently knead the dough about 5-6 times, just until it comes together. Fold the dough over itself to form layers, but don’t overwork it.
